Lemnis Gate is one of the most ambitious multiplayer shooters I have ever played, and it nails the execution like no other.

Hell Let Loose has provided some of the best gaming moments of this year, whilst also providing some of the most boring.

BPM ends up being a passable FPS with an underwhelming rhythm aspect tacked on. It’s not a bad game, just one with so much missed potential.

Ultra Age is a good game. Sure its voice acting is ropey and yeah, the story sucked, but the core gameplay makes up for those shortcomings.

Embr takes the serious job of firefighting and turns it into a light-hearted, physics based puzzler. As a concept, Embr is pretty darn solid.

Deathloop is one of the finest games I have had the pleasure of playing this year. It's a masterpiece of interweaving mechanics and design.

An interesting concept combined with a fair amount of ambition can't save Galaxy Squad from it's jank and numerous missteps.
