The NHS Mental Health Service Is A State

Today’s Podcast is a little bit different. I thought I would take some time to step away from my usual game-based content, and tackle something a bit more important. Today I look at the NHS, their Mental Health Service, and how it is failing millions of the Country’s most vulnerable people. Barrier, after barrier, hurdle after hurdle, there are simply too many obstacles blocking people from getting the support they need.

This cast is a deeply personal one. I go deep into my experience with mental health and the NHS Mental Health Service. I am not the only one who has suffered, and many of those who are suffering right now, don’t have a voice to draw attention to their plight. If you read, or listen to anything by me, make sure it’s this one.

It’s so easy to blame COVID for all the issues that plague the NHS, but in reality, these issues predate COVID by many, many years. Thanks for reading, and for listening. Feel free to drop your own experiences in the comments below if you feel comfortable.
