News | Mediatonic Confirm Fall Guys Could Come To Switch

With news that the Total Wipeout inspired Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has shaken up the Battle Royal community, British Developers, Mediatonic have come out and suggested a possible Switch port may be on the horizon.

As of writing, Fall Guys is only available on Steam and the PS4, which is all well and good, but being able to play it on the go is certainly a tantalising prospect. In an FAQ on Mediatonics website, they have stated it all depends on demand.

Are there any plans for a Xbox or Switch release?

To start with, Fall Guys will only be available on PS4 and Steam. We’d love to bring the game to other platforms further down the line. Please let us know on Twitter and Discord which platforms you’d like us to release on next – we’d love to see how much demand there is!

This is of course fantastic news for the dinky handheld – providing the Switch community get vocal. Not all is fine and dandy with Fall Guys at the moment however. Reports have stated there have been severe server issues since launch which has been chalked up to an unexpectedly massive launch with over 1.5 million players logging on in just 24 hours. To put that into perspective, it is currently more popular than the perennial hit, Grand Theft Auto 5. Hopefully Mediatonic will focus on fixing those issues before they jump into the porting game.

Would you be interested in Fall Guys on the Switch? If so, let me know in the comments below. Heck, let Mediatonic know!
