Hey Toast Fans, Toast here. After a rip roaring start to my blog followed by 3 months of excitement after becoming independent we hit 2 views. Life was good. Views were trickling in and things were looking up. Then we hit a dry spell. This lack of content hit about 6 months ago, and I would like to offer an explanation and apology, as well as an update on the future of blog.
So over the last 6 months I have lost my job, became homeless, found new accommodation and been diagnosed with a slew of unpleasant mental health issues including but not limited to Bi-Polar. This roller coaster of events has caused great strain on not only on myself and my family but also my creativity resulting in the lack of content. I am far from cured, but in attempt to regain a piece of my old self, I am back and raring to whip up some tasty literacy.
Now that the insanity bit has come to a end (thank god), I would like to throw down a quick update about the blog and where I intend to take it. Firstly, I hate regurgitating news. I made this blog because I love gaming and I wanted to express that love through creative and interesting content. As a result, news will be purged from the site and anything resembling news will be a delve into my opinion on said news.
Secondly, I want to focus on writing things I am passionate about. This will still include reviews of course, but I want to produce more content that I want to talk about, and hopefully that will interest you fine people, and get conversations flowing.
Of course none of the excuses the dirge in content the blog has experienced as of late. I would like to offer my sincerest apologies to anyone who found my blog, enjoyed my content and got a bit miffed when it suddenly stopped. Every person who has read any of my articles means more to me than my loose grasp on the English language can adequately put into words.
Sorry this is a bit of an incoherent ramble, but I hope it makes some sort of sense to someone. Fingers crossed my sanity holds out, and we can rub some buttery goodness all over the internet. Have a great day Toast fans, keep on being crispy.
